You’re here because you want to know more than just how to do point and shoot pictures.

While there's nothing like being there, I will soon offer the Digital Photography 101 course via the internet.

This class is intended to point you in the direction to begin to take technically correct photographs. And then to begin to learn to process those photos in the computer to make true photo quality prints that are indistinguishable from those made in photo labs.

The internet course will include most of the material presented in the 4 hour Digital Photography 101 class.  Plus, it will also include the ability to submit your photos for help in understanding the items in course if desired.

But after you've covered the basics, what then? Continue your education with monthly classes. 

DPI will be issued ten times a year. You will receive a class exercise designed to further your photographic and computer darkroom skills. 

Except for special issues, the lessons will usually cover a combination of subjects each month with the emphasis being upon working with your images within Adobe’s Photoshop 7.0.
