Professional photos will increase your chances of a successful entry in any quilt show.

Using special lens and lighting, I can provide you with large prints and digital files

of close-ups in extreme detail.

 

This type of documentation is invaluable in the event of an insurance claim.

That portion is shown below. These images are not  simply zoomed in.

They are separately taken images using special lenses and lighting.

There is no better way to showcase extreme detail in stitching and other fine works. The area above

measures just over 1" on the quilt. A print that is approximately 8" x 10" and larger can easily be made

of just this area if desired.

 

Compare this small area to the overall quilt size and you can realize the extreme detail that is involved.

 

 

 

Each session package will include your requested prints, plus you will receive digital files that are suitable for printing or email. Prints are made using archival materials 

 that are rated for light fastness of up to 200 years.**

Plus shipping and insurance.

Whether for guilds or individuals, discounts are available for multiple quilts.

 

 

There is an additional $7.50 fee each, for quilts without a sleeve.

 

Each quilt photographed will include two prints 8"x10" in size. (Actual image size on print will depend on quilt dimensions.)

The prints will highlight the quilt as floating on the page with a drop shadow behind.

You will also receive high resolution digital files of the prints in two sizes with no copyright restrictions for personal use.  (Licensing fees will apply for commercial users. See note at bottom of page.*) 

 

Custom image sizing for quilt show entries, larger prints, matting, and other custom services are available for a nominal fee at the time of booking. Contact me for pricing.

 

 

  

Scheduling

Photo shoots are scheduled once a month, about a month in advance. 

Only a limited number of quilts will be photographed during a session. A non-refundable deposit of 1/2 the estimated total fee must be received 10 days prior to the photo session to hold your place for a scheduled shoot. Remainder is due before return shipping of the quilt(s).

Private used is defined as family albums, use to enter juried quilt shows or displaying the image on a private web site.
Rights usage fees would apply to use for commercial purposes such as advertising classes in quilt shops, display on commercial web sites, advertising for the purpose of selling quilts, etc. Basically, anything that would generate income as a result of the use of the image.
